Jay Ryan is well known to many as the star of the RTE Junior series Living with a Fairy. Jay has performed Living with a Fairy at festivals and theatres across Ireland and his intuition, dynamism and energy make every story and every live show totally unique.

This wonderful, family show about Jay’s adventures with a fairy who comes to live with him is ideal for young children up to the age of 10 but can be enjoyed by anyone who loves the magic of stories and live music.

Housed within a beautifully converted old factory, the Waterside Theatre programmes a range of quality arts and entertainment throughout the year. It also produces an extensive Education Programme which complements that of the theatre and caters for all ages from pre-school children to senior citizens. Cascade Gallery is based within the Waterside theatre and is a commercial gallery for artists, with over 32 metres of hanging space. The theatre's capacity holds 372, with free on-site car parking, a full-screen cinema and a fully licensed cafe bar and lounge bar, this is the perfect venue for evening entertainment or hosting a conference. Breakout rooms are also available.
